| Suchithra (Chithra) Raman, Ph.D.
With excellent academic credentials and over eight years of experience as a Engineering Consultant, Chithra has proved to be a consummate professional in terms of her accomplishments, having worked on several challenging engineering projects. Chithra is a unique individual with a positive attitude, who can accept responsibility to complete a project with little oversight or direction. In couple of critical projects, her work had a direct impact on the lives of Native American Tribes. She has always aspired to improve the lives by working with Native American Tribes and assisting them with their land management from natural disasters of flooding and erosion. She has worked very effectively with other communities and organizations in addressing their environmental problems and successfully coming up with practical solutions and strategies.
In recent years, she has discovered her innate ability to assist others to live their dreams through the art of coaching. Her unique attribute for being successful in this profession is due to her listening abilities and how she manages to instill confidence in her clients without passing any judgments. Her unique contributions at Rise and Shine, an organization based in Seattle, WA was well acknowledged by the management toward providing fresh perspectives and direction in the lives of few young children.
Further, as a student of Indian Classical vocal music for the last 4 years under the tutelage of Immaneni Ashok, Ph.D., she has begun to impart her musical knowledge to little kids through a program called Flowering Intelligence. Prior to coming to Seattle, she had received basic music training from Sri Poonkunnam Vaidyanatha Bhagavathar in Kerala, India.
